About Family Health and Wellness

The Division of Family Health and Wellness provides direct education, referrals, resources, services, and support to communities and organizations who seek to promote the health and well-being of women, children, and families across the state of Tennessee.  Our efforts are family-centered, evidence-based, and data driven as we collaborate with agencies and organizations across the state and nationally to achieve equitable and quality health and health care.

As the foundation of health for all Tennesseans, our mission is to promote, protect, and improve the health, prosperity, and well-being of women, infants, children, and families across Tennessee. The Division of Family Health and Wellness carries out this mission by ensuring lifelong benefits and investments are embedded in the programming for all populations across the life course.
