East Tennessee job seekers are invited to the Maryville Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC) to receive job and employment resources and connect with a host of local employers. This event is not only an opportunity for Tennesseans to get help with their job search, it’s also an opportunity to consider training and job options. The Community Resource and Job Fair is hosted in partnership the Tennessee Department of Corrections, Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development and American Job Centers. The Tennessee Child Care Task Force was created to engage multiple stakeholders in developing ideas for improving the quality, affordability, and accessibility of child care in Tennessee. As part of its mission, the board meets monthly to share information and guide the development of a strategic plan to address child care challenges.
