Report Fraud, Waste, or Abuse

QAD's primary mission is to promote integrity, accountability, and efficiency in all operations. QAD strives to prevent, detect, and investigate instances of fraud, waste, and abuse in all divisions of the Department of Safety and Homeland Security including Driver Services and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Through compliance monitoring of high-risk areas and proactive investigations, QAD safeguards public trust, protects citizens’ identities, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Help protect public resources by reporting instances of fraud, waste, or abuse.
Fraud: An intentional deception that violates a law or the public trust for personal benefit or the benefit of others.
Waste: Behavior involving the extravagant, careless, or needless use of government funds, property, and/or personnel.
Abuse: Behavior involving the use of government funds or property that a prudent person would not consider reasonable and necessary business practice given the facts and circumstances.

*Providing your name and contact information is optional; anonymous tips will be investigated with the same level of concern as other reports. However, we will not be able to contact you to discuss the investigation or obtain additional information which could limit our ability to investigate fully. If you choose to provide your identity information, it will remain confidential to the extent permitted by law.
This reporting mechanism should not be used for routine personnel issues such as compliments or complaints relating to civil rights, harrassment, or equal employment. To report those such instances, please contact the Office of Professional Accountability.
