                                Final reading to revise exit standards for WIDA ACCESS and for English Learner students with disabilities.  There                                                      have been changes since first reading.

                 B.            Bid List of Textbooks and Instructional Materials Under Official Review – Section E (ELA and CTE: Law, Public                                                                        Safety, Corrections, Security, Government & Public Administration, Hospitality & Tourism)
                                Final reading to review the bid list for the Section E (ELA and CTE: Law, Public Safety, corrections, Security, Government &                                    Public Administration, Hospitality I Tourism) textbook review.  There have been changes since first reading.

                 C.            2019-2020 Special Course Approval 
                                Final reading of a list of special course offerings to be approved for one, three, or six years.  There have been no                                                    changes since first reading.

                 D.            High School Policy 2.103
                                 Final reading to add requirements for civics test as per new law.  There have been changes since first reading.

                 E.            Guidance on the Recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance 
                                First and final reading of guidelines for recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.

                F.            Repeal the Guidelines for Recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance Policy 4.208
                               Final reading to repeal this policy and move the same information into guidance document to be posted on the State                                         Board of Education website because statute required guidelines, not a policy, for the recitation of the pledge.  There have                                   been no changes since first reading.

               G.            Repeal the Principles of Quality Early Childhood Education Programs Policy 3.102
                               Final reading to repeal this policy because it is outdated, has not been revised since 2000, and aspects of this policy are                                       addressed in other rules and policies as well as the Department of Education programmatic requirements.  There have                                       been no changes since first reading.

               H.            Repeal the Early Childhood Education Plan Policy 3.101
                              Final reading to repeal this policy because it is outdated, has not been revised since 2000, and aspects of this policy are                                      addressed in other rules and policies as well as the Department of Education programmatic requirements.  There have                                      been no changes since first reading.

               I.             Repeal the Wellness Requirement Substitute Policy 3.202
                              Final reading to repeal this policy because it is already included in the Minimum Requirements for the Approval of Public                                    Schools rule.  There have been no changes since first reading.

               J.            Repeal the Public Records Policy 1.500    
                              Final reading to repeal this policy because the public records rule was approved by the State Board of Education in May                                      2019 and it is moving through promulgation.  There have been no changes since first reading.

              K.             Repeal the Educational Television Rule 0520-08-01
                              Final reading to repeal this rule due to Public Chapter 248 of 2019 which removed this outdated responsibility from the                                      State Board of Education because we have not been in the business of operating educational television stations.  There                                      have been no changes since first reading.

              L.            Standards Review Policy 3.209 
                             Final reading to align timing of standards review with new flexibility provided through recently passed legislation.  There h                                 has been one change since first reading to add clarification.

             M.            Uniform Grading Policy 3.301 
                              Final reading to delete section on locally approved grading systems from the policy, pursuant to recently passed                                                    legislation.  There have been no changes since first reading.

             N.            Education Savings Account (ESA) Rule 0520-01-16
                             Final reading of new rule 0520-01-16 to outline requirements and processes for applicants, participating schools,
                             providers, and use of funds for the Education Savings Account Program. There have been changes since first reading.

            O.            Educator Licensure Denial, Formal Reprimand, Suspension, & Revocation Rule 0520-02-03-.09                                                                                               First and final reading of item to revise rule based on guidance from the Attorney General's Office.

            P.              Public Records Requests Rule 0520-15-01-.08
                            First and final reading of rule revision to add clarification that individuals may use personal cameras to take photographs of                              records.

           Q.             Charter School Local Education Agency (LEA) Policies 
                            First and final reading of updates to Policy 6313 Student Discipline that govern Board-authorized charter schools.

            R.             State Identified Reward Schools
                             First and final reading of addition of three (3) Reward Schools that were inadvertently omitted from the list of Reward                                           Schools the State Department of Education submitted to the State Board at the September Board meeting.
