Nursery Stock

Many forest insects and diseases are transported across the world through infested nursery stock.  Even though some forest pests may not be visible, they may be lurking in the soil of the container.  It is important that you ask the nursery manager where the plant was grown and if they know of any forest pest that may be hitching a ride in your next landscape addition.
